Okay may i just say
thank you.
Thank you for any prayers on my behalf, I promise I could literally feel them lift me this week. What an amazing and humbling experience. Thank you so so much.
As for this week! we have an investigator with a baptismal date!! Hermano angel, and his son migelangel! They are the most humble people you will ever meet. Anyways, angel told us that he had a dream. In his dream, he saw 2 young guys dressed in missionary attire, telling him to repent. He said in his dream he felt like he wasnt ready, but that the young men helped him become clean. He told us he thought the young men were us, and that he wants to be baptized. Well this came as a suprise for sure, but after a lot of talking, teaching, and a few tears, we set a date for him! what a cool experience. Makes the hard times all worth it.
Anyways this week was sooo much better! We work super hard every day, it can be frusturating sometimes because people love to listen, but they dont love to keep commitments in order to find out for themselves! Oh well, we will keep on keepin on! Hopefully the spirit can guide us in what we need to say and do in order to help these people with whatever it is they need.
So this week, I decided to change my attitude. I feel like i was focusing on myself, what was wrong with my situation, why can I have this, why cant I do that, everything was on me. But man, when i started to focus outward oh man things became simply incredible. I was able to listen with charity, and instead of focusing on what i need to say or what i need to do, I was able to know what they needed me to say, or in otherwords, what heavenly father needed me to say. I know that if we can focus outwards, pray for charity, and listen with love, we can change our lives and the lives of others.
Again thanks so much, for everything everyone! You guys are all amazing. Also good luck to my xc bois, you guys make me proud in everything, no matter what you do. What an inspiration you are to everyone by your hard work. GO WIN STATE YEEEEEEEEE
