Primera Semana del Campo

Hey everyone!!! whats up?!?!

Holy cow I have so much to say and no time to say it.  But I will do my best.

SOOO the field is nuts.  I live with 3 brazilians, my companion, elder camargo, only speaks portugese and spanish, so I have no choice but to speak the language!  Same with the other two, they only speak spanish!!  So its been way hard, but I have learned more here in 1 week than 6 weeks in the MTC.  Wow.  

Well, what else? my house is pretty nice actually, however, the power goes out every day without a doubt.  Its not like in the MTC where the power would go out for 2 seconds and back on.  Also the water breaks every day, so there are days where we cant shower.  It feels super gross cuz we already sweat a lot thanks to my good pal the humidity.  Oh well.  It is a fun adventure, and I am loving every second of it.  Not gonna lie, I have never felt more blessed in my entire life.  For some reason, I feel so blessed, privilidged, and loved.  I can feel my saviors love in all I do, and I know he is lifting me through all of this!

Conferense was soooooooooo cool huh???  I loved every second of it.  I watched most in spanish but I got a good sesson in in english.  WOW what a crazy place this is.  The people are so so nice.  THey just want to give you everything.  I love them so much already.

My companion and I have been workng like crazy!! We are actually starting an area, so there are no contacts in this area and have to start from scratch. we have 15 or so investigators right now?? its so cool.  

Okay not much time to write today unfortunately, but i do have a message!!

So, looking back on my life, i see a lot that was really hard for me.  Whether it was poor decisions, unkind people, not havng a testmony, or whatever the trial was.  But I promise.  I promise you guys with all of my heart and all I can testify, that god HAS a plan for us.  He loves us.  He HAS NOT forgotten you.  He will send his angles to lift you, and answer your prayers.  He loves us so much, he gave his only begotten son, that we can have someone to go to, that we can have someone to lift us up and stregthen us in times of trial.  All we need to do is ask.  Sometimes we just need to have the faith to trust in him when things are going wrong, because those things are there for a reason.  I love this church and I love the joy, peace, and happiness this message gives me!!
