Cuarta Semana

What's up this week everyone?!

This week was arguably the least eventful week so It'll be a short email for sure haha.  First and foremost, if you really know me, you know I love smash bros.  Like so much.  Its a part of me.  And its HUGE in the DR.  Like its so big here.  Apariently members play all the time and they invite us to play, I dont know what I'll do when I'm offered.  That'll take more self control than I've ever had to use in my life.  But this place is truly incredible wowza.

The language is coming good, I talk to the people who serve us food every day.  And I try to talk to anyone who's native here.  I'm learning a lot, but I also know theres only so much I can learn in the CCM, I'm honestly just excited to go out into the field haha.  But this place is great and I'm working super hard to learn a lot.

OH! Super cool stuff.  So I'm a pianist, and this elder in my district (elder malone) just shreds the Violin.  So we have done 2 piano+violin duets in the past 2 sundays!!! It's been so fun and brings the spirit like mad.  We just pick two hymns and transpose and make them our own.  Last week we did a mix of praise to the man, and joseph smiths first prayer, and it was just so amazing. Reminds me of when Kai barlow and I used to do duets on piano and cello.  We rocked it back then haha love you kai.  

Oh elder wauldron got here! (sorry if I didnt spell the name right) its good to see a familiar face around here.  He brought me some candy from my momma, it was good to have american candy again lol.  it makes me miss working at a candy store, blicks was great.  I ate so much candy during that time haha.

Anyways, I'm gonna leave y'all with a little message, testimony, and challenge.

I strongly encourage you guys to read the Book of mormon, cover to cover, including the introductions and testimonies.  It has chaged my life completely, and I promise if you read it and try to get the most out of it, while praying to heavenly father for the spirit and for guidance, you will find and receive things in your life that will amaze you.  I testify of its truth and I testify that Joseph smith was truly a prophet of god, and that the book of mormon is true.  If it can change me, I PROMISE it can change you.
